FROM 500 to ONE ... MEET CANADA'S NEWEST GLOBAL ADVENTURER: "THE FACE" OF MY GLOBAL ADVENTURE IS FINALLY ANNOUNCED!

(CALGARY/REGINA, CANADA) After a series of short lists, preliminary interviews and camera tests with potential explorer's, producers of the hippest documentary adventure series to hit the web and TV are pleased to announce "the face" of My Global Adventure.

Anastasia (Asia) Nelson, 24 of Calgary Alberta, was the producers' top pick for the travel website and TV series. Asia has an adventurous spirit and has dreamed about traveling around the world since she was a small child. She holds a BA in English - Honours, with Great Distinction from the University of Lethbridge and currently writes for a local television station.

Upon receiving the call Ms. Nelson says, "When I first found out that I had been chosen my reaction was a mixture of joy, shock and disbelief!

I'm looking forward to all of it: the chance to test myself, find my limits and push them, to live life the way I've always wanted. I'm hopeful that this adventure will turn out to be all I want and more. But mostly, I'm so very, very, ready to stop dreaming and start doing."

Applicants from around the world entered the open competition on the website at www.myglobaladventure.com. The international search for the adventurous person who will be central to this, the "ultimate road trip," began February 19. At the closing date for submissions, 500 applications and videos were received by series producers.

Prospects from all over the world were intrigued by the opportunity of being "the face" of this globe-trotting adventure. Since its inception the website's home page received thousands of hits with visitors to the site coming from Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Japan, Mexico, Malaysia, New Zealand (Aotearoa), Norway, Russian Federation, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and the U.S.

Today's introduction of My Global Adventure's explorer will be released on the website simultaneous to the public announcement in the media at 11:00 a.m. CST.

Created and produced by Minds Eye Entertainment, My Global Adventure is a new concept in reality-based entertainment. An interactive website and 26 part half-hour documentary television series will document one person's worldwide tour to 24 countries on six continents within eight months: both will feature a real person on a real life experience, engaging in the ultimate adventure of 'round the world travel, extreme physical challenges, as well as encountering cultural, historical and emotional events. Their ultimate adventure will be captured by an accompanying crew and documented for internet and television broadcast.
