KEVIN
DEWALT – President and CEO
Kevin DeWalt is CEO and
President of Minds Eye Entertainment, winner of the prestigious
Canadian Film and Television Production Association’s Chetwynd
Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence and Ernst and Young’s
Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the media category, Kevin has
produced over 50 film and television projects and has spearheaded the
development of a regional production company into an
internationally-recognized, vertically-integrated organization which
includes subsidiaries in distribution, production and post-production.
Over the years Minds Eye has won over 60 national and international
awards.
Kevin started Minds Eye
Entertainment in 1986 as a result of completing his first film project Namaste,
a story about two young men and their 37-month
odyssey discovering the third world. The company started by producing
corporate videos and commercials and by 1989 produced its first drama
project. Over the next 22 years, Minds Eye Entertainment diversified
into distribution, post-production, new media and production. It has
produced over $300,000,000 in production volume and has over 400 hours
of programs in its distribution library.

FRANK WHITE – Chief
Financial Officer
Frank White joined the
Minds Eye Entertainment team as Chief Financial Officer in May of 2008.
He brings with him 30 years of experience in the accounting field.
Prior to joining Minds Eye Entertainment he served as controller for
one of the world’s top producing agricultural companies working
with clients and colleagues domestically and around the world. A
long-time volunteer football official, Frank can also be found lending
his officiating expertise to the Pride of the Prairies –
Regina’s own Saskatchewan Roughriders.
LISA
DONAHUE – Business Affairs Manager
Following 6 years of
free-lance work, Lisa Donahue has returned to Minds Eye Entertainment
as of December, 2009. With nearly two decades of experience in
film and television production (more than 10 years of which has been
spent at Minds Eye Entertainment), Lisa Donahue has worked as a
producer and business affairs consultant on projects with total
financing in excess of $250 million. Lisa displays a comprehensive
understanding of production and financing structures. Her strong
business acumen is complemented by her hands-on production experience.
In 2005 she produced the Saskatchewan Centennial Gala, a live 2-hour
event for an stadium audience of 10,000 which included Her Majesty
Queen Elizabeth II, broadcast nationally on CBC to more than 2 million
viewers. For
this achievement she was awarded the Saskatchewan Centennial Medal.
COLIN
HUBICK – Post-Production Supervisor
With more than a decade
of experience in emerging production trends, Colin Hubick is one of
Canada's leading authorities in RED Camera technologies and a
specialist in post-production and media development whose expertise
lies in 3D animation, compositing, camera matching/tracking and
editing. One of Colin’s recent groundbreaking achievements was
engaging the exclusive use of RED Camera technologies on the set of a
major feature film – Hybrid – the first one
in Canada to shoot exclusively on the new technology. His ability
to provide creative and technical guidance from the pre-production
period through to post-production requires a unique skill-set not often
available to clients.
DAVID
CORMICAN – Development Executive
Working between Toronto
and Regina, David Cormican is Minds Eye Entertainment’s executive
in charge of development. No stranger to the film and television
industry, David is an award-winning performer and producer with a
background in musical and classical theatre. With a strong passion for
script development, David founded the Canadian Short Screenplay
Competition in 2008. He is committed to creating and developing
entertaining and original television, film and cross-platform
programming, concepts and content.
MARK MONTAGUE – Producer
After receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts in
film and video production from the University of Regina, Mark began his
career working as an assistant director. Mark graduated from the
advanced film and television directing and director of photography
programs at the Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced
Learning. His thesis film Telemarketers screened at
the Canadian Embassy in the Best of Canadian Shorts program at the 2006
Washington DC International Short Film Festival. Mark worked with
Ghosthouse Pictures and Sony Pictures in Los Angeles before returning
to Saskatchewan.
ANNMARIE
LESIUK - Managing Director, Minds Eye International
Specializing in
international distribution, Annmarie has traveled to 32 countries and
has attended 57 festivals and markets worldwide. With a Bachelor of
Fine Arts degree in film and video production, Annmarie started her
career producing a feature film and several shorts, working in the
camera department at CTV, and running her own video production company.
Heading up foreign distribution for two production companies and
working as a Sales Director, she has accumulated over 8 years of
experience in international television sales. Annmarie founded an
international sales and consultant agency in Toronto. She
consulted for companies in Dubai, London, Beijing, Melbourne, and
Toronto, as well developed several television series all aimed at
global audiences. Annmarie has joined Minds Eye International in
2009 as the Managing Director.
