Hollywood (Saskatchewan) is an intimate behind-the-scenes look at the development of the Saskatchewan film and television industry from its inception produced by Minds Eye Entertainment for the Saskatchewan Communications Network.

Filmmakers in the province of Saskatchewan have garnered a reputation for excellence worldwide. Since starting in earnest, local producers and Hollywood filmmakers alike have continued to produce film and television products that are seen by audiences worldwide.

Saskatchewan residents are known for their hard work and dedication – the provincial film industry is no exception. The result…the continued growth and expansion of a vibrant and dynamic film and television industry, often said to be the envy of the nation.

The success enjoyed by filmmakers in Saskatchewan today is built upon a legacy of production as old as the province itself.

Hollywood (Saskatchewan) is a thirteen-part documentary series that takes an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at several diverse though equally influential film and television productions made in Saskatchewan.

The series will take the audience behind the camera to meet many of the talented individuals who helped shape and continue to build Saskatchewan’s burgeoning film and television industry.
